Hi, I'm Adam.
I make mortgages feel calm, clear and human, even when life isn't.
I'm a Partner and Mortgage Professional at Mortgage Connection, based in Calgary and licensed in Alberta and Ontario. I guide people through mortgages the way I'd want someone to guide my own family: calmly, clearly, and with care. Clarity creates confidence.
I've spent my whole working life in client care, and mortgages turned out to be where it matters most. A mortgage is the largest financial commitment most people ever make, and the gap between a good experience and a miserable one usually comes down to the same few things: thinking several steps ahead, getting the details right the first time, and telling you what's happening before you have to ask. That's the standard I hold myself to, from the first pre-approval conversation through to funding, and at every renewal after that.
I'm originally from Ontario and have been a proud Calgarian since 2013, living here with my wife, our daughter, and a labradoodle named Sundance. Before mortgages I finished an Honours BA at the University of Toronto, then spent two years abroad: first in Paris, then in London, working and completing a Master of Arts at University College London. The travel bug never quite left; these days it's family trips rather than one-way tickets.
Away from the work you'll find me fishing when the chance comes up, playing the occasional round of golf, or cooking for friends and family. Scratch-made, wood-fired pizza is a particular obsession.
But the part I genuinely enjoy most is this one: helping people turn a plan for home ownership into keys in their hand.

Straight answers
Including the ones you might not want. If your renewal offer is already good, I'll tell you to sign it. If a purchase is a stretch, I'll say so before you write an offer rather than after.
The whole cost, not the headline rate
Penalty calculations, prepayment privileges and whether you can take the mortgage with you can be worth far more than a tenth of a point. I weigh those for you and tell you what I'd do.
I stay reachable
You get me directly, not a call centre and not a different person at every step. And I check in before every renewal, not just the first one.

Licensing
I work under Mortgage Connection, and I'm licensed in both Alberta and Ontario. In Ontario, mortgage brokering is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. My licence number is M25000697, and Mortgage Connection's brokerage licence is 13097. Both can be verified through the regulator's public registry.
